Goal Weight?
I want to make sure I have an ideal number in line and Dr. Dyer did not ask me or tell me a number. So I guess I am to pick my own.
Thanks for the help.

Hey Sher---I picked my goal weight range (between 145-155--I am 5'8") based on a couple things...first the weight range chart and then, based on when I was the healthiest & most comfortable in my life. I weighed about 140-ish in my early 20s & then in my late 20s I was about 145-165....(I didn't gain all my weight until about 30 when I was dx'd with PCOS & then had three babies w/in 5 years...hello 293!!).
I felt great at 155, even, and was wearing a size 9, which was good for my frame. So, I set my goal taking all that into account. When talkign w/Dr. Houston he thought 155 would be a good goal for me...but, I wouldn't mind having some "wiggle room", so I am thinking 145...but, I will modify the closer I get.....xo, Micheala.

For now, it's just a guesstimate. What will really determine the final number is how I feel and can I maintain it easily. If I have to eat 800 cals and exercise 2 hours a day to maintain at 150, I might bump it up some.
I'll just see when I get there!

During my psychological review, the doctor helped me come up with a number. We looked up the "average" and then we looked at how much skin could be removed. My goal was 170, at 5"5" and 41, it sounded reasonable.
THEN I ran the number by my doctor and my nutritionist at Vandy and both seemed fine... my goal is a 160, at that is like the BIG goal after skin removal... so I guess I should adjust my ticker again... I'd like to get to 170 - 175, and then maintain that for a while. Start saving money to have some reconstruction and skin removal.
Which is a LONG day down the road.. but I am closer than I was 6 months ago!!!
